Data deletion

How deletion works today

Honest Mirror has no accounts or logins, and your records are pseudonymous (they are not stored under your name or email). Deletion is therefore handled manually by our team on request — there is no automatic self-service deletion button yet.

How to request deletion

1. Email support@honestmirror.ai with the subject Data deletion request.
2. Include your private report link (the link in your report email). Because we do not store your name or full email address, this link is how we find your records.
3. If you no longer have the link, tell us the approximate date and time of your purchase and the email address you used at checkout; we will try to locate your records through the payment confirmation.

We will reply by email to confirm once your request has been completed, or to ask for the details we need to find your records.

What we delete

• your assessment answers, safety check-in response and age group;
• your Truth Report, and any Day-30 retake and comparison;
• your 30-day mission records, including any notes you wrote;
• your Social Mirror: the invite link, the first name you chose, and the anonymous answers and comments people gave about you;
• the redacted delivery-email record and the site-usage events linked to your session.

After deletion your report link stops working.

What we cannot delete for you

• Payment records are held by Stripe, which processed your payment, under Stripe’s own privacy policy and legal record-keeping obligations.
• Emails already delivered to your inbox.
• Advertising measurement messages already sent to Meta (see our Privacy Policy — they never contain your answers, score, report or plaintext email) are held by Meta under its own policies.
• Anything stored in your own browser (assessment progress and similar entries) — you can remove it by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

If you answered someone else’s Social Mirror

Answers are anonymous, so we can only locate one if you send us the invite link you used and roughly when you answered. We will delete it if we can identify it, and tell you if we cannot.

Facebook and Instagram

Visitors do not sign in to Honest Mirror with Facebook, Instagram or any other account, and Honest Mirror does not receive data from your Facebook or Instagram account. Our Facebook Page and Instagram account are used to publish our own posts and ads.
